Makal Evans

Director of Basketball Operations

Makal Evans is a Milwaukee native and former collegiate basketball player who graduated from Mesmer High School in 2017. He continued his basketball career at UWM-Waukesha and Silver Lake College, helping lead UWM-Waukesha to two WCC Final Four appearances and a WCC State Championship in 2020–21 while averaging 12.65 career points per game throughout college.

Over the past 4 and a half, Makal has trained thousands of athletes across Wisconsin and has helped multiple athletes reach the collegiate level through basketball skill development and mentorship.

I'm excited to partner with Nex-Gen Performance because the right environment can truly impact an athlete’s growth and confidence. Looking forward to helping players develop their game and giving back to the community through high-level basketball development.
